Marketing is all around us: on the TV, radio, billboards, buses, and our phones. Therefore, it is no surprise that companies have been increasingly focusing on digital marketing as a way of gauging interest in customers. Certain tactics can be identified when it comes to digital marketing, but before we discuss the future outlook of those trends, let’s define what digital marketing is.

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital marketing is advertising distributed via digital channels such as search engines, websites, social media, email, and mobile apps (Marketo, 2021). Digital marketing is the process through which businesses are able to endorse their goods, services, and brands through the use of online media channels.

Trends in Digital Marketing

While new platforms and technologies will be established in the future, some of the trends will branch off of existing ones. Therefore, understanding current trends will also allow us to understand how marketing will change and adapt from the present day approach. Hence, I have outlined 6 Digital Marketing trends that Will Change in the 2020s.
